Aesop's fables have been passed down through generations and illustrated in hundreds of ways, thus for this project, I wanted to apply my own approach to these stories. I selected eleven of the fables to illustrate, print and and assemble into a book made entirely by hand. To create the illustrations, after sketching and designing, I produced soft ground etching's and later edited them digitally. For the cover, inspired by Penguin Classics, I screen printed the design onto fabric.
